Larry Huttinger, CMP, DMCP

Director

Larry founded dLPLAN as a full service meeting management and consulting firm in 1987, after working in the hospitality industry for close to 10 years. Larry’s career started, quickly after college, as a tour director for a major New England tour company taking groups all over the Northeast.

His passion for the hospitality industry lead him back to the Atlantic City area to pursue an opportunity to open two of the largest hotel casinos in Atlantic City, during the early days of the city’s transformation as the only east coast gaming destination. Larry’s main responsibilities were in Convention Services, Catering, Sales, and Marketing where he created and managed different departments.

Since 1987, Larry has grown dLPLAN to what it is today. It wasn’t long after opening dLPLAN that Larry was managing programs all over the country and internationally and grew his staff. Larry manages many aspects of the company working with clients and new business development expanding our client base.

Larry is an active member of the Hospitality Advisory Board of the Hospitality Degree program at Atlantic Cape Community College and is a guest speaker on related Event Industry topics. He has been invited to speak at different industry events that include HSMAI, local CVB, and MPI ‘s regional and national conferences and Corporate Business Conferences on Event Consulting.

When Larry can get some free time, you will find him biking trails and kayaking through the Pine Barrens in South Jersey.

Angelina Palmieri Streich, CEM

Associate Director

From a young age, Angelina was immersed in the hospitality industry. She gained valuable management and operations experience working at her parent’s restaurant. This led her to pursue a Marketing degree from East Carolina University.

Angelina joined the dLPLAN team and has grown to become a valuable member of our group for the past 8 years. With her project management skills and knowledge of the industry Angelina works closely with clients in consulting and supporting their conference requirements. Her responsibilities include all aspects of project management, meeting management services, exhibit, sponsorship development and sales, and attendee registration solutions.

One of Angelina’s biggest accomplishments at our company involved the relocation of a 700 attendee regional conference due to a sudden hotel closure. After 2 years of planning, with the client, Angelina and the dLPLAN team took on the 5 week challenge and produced a successful & profitable conference.

Outside of work Angelina loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. When she’s not working, you can find her planning her next adventure or having a relaxing day at the beach.

Heather became a member of dLPLAN with over five years of Hospitality experience. With a passion for pleasing people and interacting with others, it was only natural to pursue a field where she brings happiness to others. Heather relishes in watching the many aspects of an event turn from paper into full production. With a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Stockton University, she has gained experience in sales, marketing, office management, event planning and production.

Prior to joining dLPLAN, Heather demonstrated her organizational skills, attention to detail and customer service skills in the Food and Beverage industry throughout South Jersey businesses. Tara McGowan

Meeting Coordinator

Tara joined the dLPLAN team with over 5 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. While she was always drawn to events, Tara received most of her experience within the food and beverage side of the industry. During her time at Stockton University, Tara was a student worker for Stockton’s Event Services. While she learned a lot doing the behind the scenes scheduling of these meetings and events, she rarely got to see the event come together after all of the planning.

With a degree from Stockton University in Hospitality and Tourism Management, she gained more knowledge in event planning and management, financial literacy, marketing, business policies and more. She uses these skills in planning events and virtual conferences on a daily basis, specializing in customized attendee engagements, exhibitor and sponsorship management and meeting client’s expectations.

In her free time, Tara enjoys cooking for her friends and family and trying new restaurants. She also enjoys DIY projects and likes to take on a project, such as candle making, to give as gifts each holiday season.
